(BEIJING, April 20) -- Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice-president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) met with visiting CEO of the German News Agency Malte von Trotha on Friday.
As the host of the 2008 Olympic Games, BOCOG wants to hear proposals from Germany which has hosted the Olympic Games and is a great sport power, said Jiang.
He told the guest that BOCOG will provide good conditions for media coverage and the German News Agency can contact BOCOG Media Operations Department to deal with related matters.
In his reply, Trotha said the Beijing Olympic Games will be a key topic in his news agency's work next year and the BOCOG Media Operations Department has helped it to solve a number of specific issues. He praised BOCOG for its high efficiency and believed that Beijing will stage a successful Olympics.
