(BEIJING, March 7) -- A Nigerian Olympic Committee delegation led by T. Daniel Hart, out-going Permanent Secretary of the Sport Ministry paid a visit to the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and had talks with BOCOG International Relations Department on Wednesday.

The officials of the department briefed the guests on the preparatory work for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, including transportation, accommodation, food, accreditation, medical service, sport venues, warming-up venues, the Olympic Village and other areas. The Nigerian delegation was invited to tour the Olympic venues under construction to get first-hand information on the sites where the Nigerian athletes will compete.

Delegation members were happy to see the progress of the Olympic preparations, which provide good conditions for the participating teams.
