Latest news:BMX World Cup starts today

(BEIJING, August 20) – The two-day Good Luck Beijing 2007 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup with the participation of 22 teams will take place this afternoon in the newly-completed Olympic BMX venue in Beijing.

Men's and women's races, including the time trials, elimination series and finals have been scheduled. The first two rounds of time trial rankings will be held on August 20 with the quarter finals, semifinals and finals on August 21.

The World Cup has the same sport events as next year's Olympic Games and uses the same venue. The competitions offer a good opportunity to test the preparations for the 2008 Olympics, especially to get feedbacks on the venue.
