The Symbol of Beijing
Beijing is the capital city of China with a long history and many old buildings in it, such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Tian'anmen Square and so on. I prefer the Tian'anmen Square to the others. It's situated in the centre of Beijing City and it's also the broadest square. There did Chairmen Mao announce that People's Republic of China had been built, October 1st, 1949.
Around it, there are many famous buildings, too. The Forbidden City, one of the greatest palaces in the world, or called the Palace Museum, is opposite the Tian'anmen Square. On the square's left is the Great Hall of the People, and on the right is the National Museum of China. The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall is between the Great Hall of the People and the museum.
They are also the symbols of Beijing, I'm very proud of them.
